How to use Trade Area Analysis |

This is a very useful tool for those who are considering opening a restaurant in Shinagawa and Ota wards of Tokyo.
You can determine the number of residents and employees in each area, the number of passengers at each station, and the location of each restaurant. If you are considering opening a new restaurant, please use this tool to survey the trade area and location. |

1. The first two buttons (Residents, Employees)
First, when you tap (click) on a button, a check mark appears on the button and color-coded areas are displayed on the map. You can see at a glance which areas are inhabited and which are not. 2. Clear button Click (tap) the clear button to make the area disappear. 3. Station button, South Asian Restaurant button First, when you click (tap) on a button, a check mark will appear on the button and a marker will appear on the map. Clicking (tapping) on the marker will display the respective data. 4. Voronoi Diaglam button The yellow lines represent the Voronoi diagram. |

1. Areas by color on the map
Number of inhabitants: The number of inhabitants in each area of Shinagawa and Ota wards in Tokyo is shown in dark red. Number of employees: The number of employees working in each area is shown in blue. (Please refer to MapPage Help for the number of people) 2. Marker Click (tap) within the area to display a marker, and click (tap) on it to display a popup. If you click (tap) another area, another marker will appear and a line will be drawn between the markers. 3. Pop-up window (1) The number of population at the location is displayed. (2) The distance between the two markers is displayed. (3) Click (tap) the “500m business area set” button to display the area within a 500m radius of the marker. |
